Dr. Judith Brooks is a caring compassionate physician, who has been practicing family medicine and geriatrics on the Treasure Coast since 2012.  Dr. Brooks is a board-certified Family Medicine Practitioner who is also Hospice Medical Director Board Certified. Her medical degree was obtained from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey and her Family Medicine Internship and Residency Training was completed at Morton Plant Hospital-University of South Florida in Clearwater, Florida. She subsequently pursued fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital University of Miami in Miami, Florida.

Dr. Brooks attended City College of New York for undergraduate and graduate studies in Cell and Molecular Biology. During that time, she performed extensive research in T-Cell development. In 1996 she participated in HIV research at Makerere University in Uganda through the World AIDS Foundation and the Fogarty International Center/NIH Program.

She is currently affiliated with the University of NOVA Southeastern University, College of Medicine, and Florida State University, College of Medicine as a Clinical Assistant Professor. Dr. Brooks is also involved in the development of the St. Lucie Medical Center Family Medicine and Transitional Rotating Residency (TRI) Training Programs.

Previously she held the position of Chief Medical Officer for Treasure Coast Community Health Centers in Vero Beach and Fellsmere Florida.

In addition to her myriad of accomplishments, Dr. Brooks enjoys spending time with her family and giving back to the community. She is currently a volunteer physician with International American Medical Mission (IAMM), participating in both local and overseas missions, and has traveled to the Dominican Republic and Jamaica frequently in this capacity.
